Hello! I’m Eli Marietta, a Mixed Methods UX Researcher who serves as the diplomat between users and internal stakeholders.

As with virtually everyone in UX, my career path wasn't a straight line. At the University of Denver, I immersed myself academically in the cultures and politico-economic systems of other countries by majoring in International Studies, convinced I was born to be a diplomat.

However, when I learned about UX, it immediately struck me as a way to make a positive impact with research while also incorporating my most enduring passions: art and technology. Equipped with an ability to synthesize complex information, I also studied Marketing and Emergent Digital Practices to understand business objectives and new evolutions in technology.

I proceeded to gain a foundation in UX in three bootcamps and hands-on experiences at Hack for LA and Tech Fleet and am now pursuing an MS in Human-Computer Interaction at the Georgia Institute of Technology to further expand my skills.

Outside of work I enjoy walking my French Bulldog, watching the Celtics, and having meandering conversations with family and friends.
